Apollo Hospitals turnover up

Chennai, Jan 24

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd has reported a turnover of Rs 2,97.1 crore for the third quarter of the current year, an increase of 27 per cent over Rs. 2,34.10 crore for the corresponding period last year. The net profit after tax stood at Rs 26.40 crore, a 47 per cent increase (Rs 17.90 crore). The cumulative turnover for nine months ended December 2007 was Rs. 8,38.20 crore (Rs 662.70 crore), an increase of 26 per cent. Net profit after tax before extra ordinary items was Rs 79.90 crore, 51 per cent over Rs 52.90 crore achieved in the same period last year.
