AP CM asks ministry to allot Rs 600 cr

Hyderabad, Jan. 24

Dr Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, has asked the Finance Ministry to allot Rs 600 crore to roads and buildings to help it complete the projects on hand. "Of this, Rs 300 crore would come back as reimbursement from the Union Government," he told officials. A press release from the Chief Minister's office said that Dr Reddy also asked HUDA (Hyderabad Urban Development Authority) to give Rs 60 crore to R&B for the road-widening works from Aaramghar to Shamshabad, where the new airport is coming up. - Our Bureau
