Neuland Labs Q3 net doubles

Hyderabad, Jan. 25 Neuland Laboratories Ltd (NLL) has more than doubled its net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 at Rs 3.5 crore (Rs 1.69 crore).

The Hyderabad-based, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) maker reported a turnover of Rs 57.88 crore (Rs 49.67 crore) during the quarter under review, a growth of 18.69 per cent over the corresponding quarter last year. The earnings per share (EPS) was Rs 6.5 (Rs 3.13).

Dr D.R. Rao, Chairman & Managing Director, Neuland Laboratories, said “Continuing with our focused plans of being profitable and giving more value to our investors, besides growing our client base the company has always had strong business growth initiatives”.
