Terrafirm to launch training division

Kochi, Jan. 27 Terrafirm Realty Management Services, promoted by a team of professionals in the realty industry, has proposed to launch a training and research division on realty related agendas.

“Good Practices in Realty Investment for Women” will be the first initiative of the Terrafirm Centre of Excellence as part of offering the training programme for women to encourage them to operate in the realty sector.

Mr George Mathai, Chairman and Managing Director of the Terrafrim Realty Management Services said that the recent Apex Realty Conclave – Kerala 2008 was an effort to build partnership among stakeholders.

In his inaugural address, Mr Sriram Bharath, Managing Director, Cochin International Airport Ltd, emphasised the need to regulate land valuation to realistic levels and end speculative investment in it.

Mr Chandrasekhar Prabhu, Advisor, Urban Infrastructure Venture Fund in his keynote address pointed out that urban development with people participation was successful.
