Divi’s Lab net up at Rs 99 cr

Hyderabad, Jan 28 Divi’s Laboratories Ltd has posted 216 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 99 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2008 compared with Rs 31 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal. The earnings per share (diluted) stood at Rs 15.17 (Rs 4.81).

The Hyderabad-based company’s total income for the quarter grew 90 per cent to Rs 289 crore (Rs 152 crore).

For the nine months period of the current fiscal, the total income grew to Rs 764 crore (Rs 482 crore), while net profit was Rs 255 crore (Rs 87 crore), according to a release.
