Today, the NSE recorded a turnover of Rs 43,396 crore in the F&O segment; it used to witness a turnover of over lakh crore during the settlement week during previous occasions. The drop in turnover was due to two reasons: a) The recent fall has robbed many investors’ money and b) not many brokerages are encouraging investors, particularly retail one to participate in the market at this volatile movement fear of margin call.
