Zylog clocks 36% rise in Q3 net

Chennai, Jan. 28

Zylog Systems Ltd, a Chennai-based software service provider, has reported a net profit of Rs 23.44 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007, a 36.2 per cent growth over Rs 17.21 crore registered in the corresponding quarter last year. Turnover for the period under consideration stood at Rs 160 crore (Rs 128.64 crore). A press release from the company says quoting its Chairman and CEO, Mr Sudarshan Venkatraman, Zylog expands into France, West Asia and Canada and in newer practice areas within pharma and manufacturing verticals and this would add value to its existing offerings.
