Vodafone plea admitted

Mumbai, Jan 28 The Bombay High Court on Monday admitted a writ petition by Vodafone International Holdings BV (VIHBV) challenging claims of the Indian Tax Authorities that Vodafone was in default of withholding tax obligations in India.A bench consisting of Justice Robello and Justice Mohite heard the matter.

The court has said that the final hearing to determine the maintainability and suitability of the matter will be on March 10.
