MRPL scholarship for students

Mangalore, Jan. 31

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) will provide scholarships to 926 students attending primary to high school in and around Mangalore under its `Samrakshan' programme. A company release said here on Thursday that from February 1, as many as 926 students attending primary to high school drawn from 72 government schools will be provided with merit scholarship of Rs 700 per month for the entire academic year. Two students each from each division from Class I to Class X in 52 schools from around Kuthethoor village and 20 from Sarpady village will benefit from these merit scholarships, the release added. - Our Bureau
