AP gesture to entrepreneurs

Hyderabad, Jan. 31

Andhra Pradesh State Financial Corporation (APSFC) has taken an initiative to provide financial assistance to the entrepreneurs of Karnataka, who are interested to set up small and medium scale industries in Andhra Pradesh. The corporation held a development programme in Bangalore on January 30 in this regard. It received a total of 30 project proposals, worth of Rs 200 crore. Majority of the projects are in steel and engineering industries followed by textiles sector. The Karnataka entrepreneurs submitted their project proposals to set up industries mainly in Chittoor and Anantapur, followed by Nellore, Khammam and Visakha districts. - Our Bureau
