Rolta’s consolidated net climbs 47%

Mumbai, Jan. 31 The city based IT firm Rolta Ltd has registered a 47.2 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 2007 to Rs 60.21 crore against Rs 40.9 crore recorded in the corresponding year ago quarter. Total income rose 47.8 per cent to Rs 251.9 crore (Rs 170.4 crore). On standalone basis, the company’s net profit rose by 60 per cent to Rs 68 crore (Rs 42.5 crore).

The company scrip was down by 5.7 per cent to close at Rs 233.35 on the BSE today.
