The city-based InterVein Laboratories and the Bangalore-based D2L Pharma Research Solutions have signed a memorandum of understanding for providing one-stop solution to the global clinical research industry.

InterVein, which commenced its operations in 2006, caters to clinical trial samples only and is one of the few central laboratories in India providing such services to clinical research.

On the other hand, D2L Pharma is engaged in site management and consulting services, according to a release here. The two would collaborate on providing their competencies in clinical investigations and site management services.

This partnership will enable them to jointly provide an integrated platform for pharmaceutical companies, to enable them to move the promising drug candidates to the marketplace faster, Ms Devina Bhardwaj, CEO, InterVein Laboratories and Dr K. Sashi Kiran, Founder and Managing Director, D2L Pharma Research Solutions, said.
