Micro digital hearing aids launched

Mangalore, Feb. 1 Widex India, the company which introduced the digital hearing aids in the country, has launched its new micro hearing aids here on Friday.

Addressing mediapersons, Mr T.S. Anand, Managing Director of Widex India, said that these hearing aids are available in three series – Flash, Aikia and Inteo.

Stating that Widex India controls over 60 per cent market share in the digital hearing aids market in India, he said there is good prospect for digital hearing aids in the country. In the next five years, the country may witness the sale of around 2.5 lakh digital hearing aids from the current 25,000 digital hearing aids, he said.

Mr Michael Westermann, Export Manager, Widex Denmark; and Ms Patricia Ana Tedesco, Director of International Sales, Vivosonic, Canada, were present on the occasion.
