Air Cargo Dubai Logistics City keen on India
The delegates from the Dubai Logistics City, who recently visited Mumbai to attend the Air Cargo India 2008 conference, sought contacts to do business to profit from India’s burgeoning economy, according to Shipping Gazette quoting Trade Arabia News Service. UAE continues to be India’s largest trading partner in the West Asia and India is a key market for Dubai. Also, India’s air cargo and aviation sector is linked to the boom in the Gulf. Emirates is not only linked to major Indian cities but also stepping up the number of flights out of India. Recently it introduced daily service to Dubai from Kolkata. With a new airport due to become fully operational in 2015, DLC will not only offer one-stop logistics shop in Dubai but will also complement India’s estimated growth in the aviation sector.
