Honda Siel sales up 29%

New Delhi, Feb. 3 Premium car maker Honda Siel Cars India reported a 29 per cent increase in sales at 7,767 units during January 2008, as against 6,013 units in the same month last year.

Meanwhile, Tata Motors reported sales of 20,119 passenger vehicles in the domestic market last month, the highest during the fiscal till December, but a decline of 11.8 per cent over 22,801 numbers sold in January 2007.

Leading motorcycle maker Hero Honda registered a sale of 298,050 units during January 2008, a marginal decrease from 297,554 in January 2007.
