Power Torrent Power net jumps 115% Ahmedabad, Jan. 30 Torrent Power Ltd has registered an increase of nearly 115 per cent in net profit to Rs 59.29 crore (Rs 27.44 crore).The total income for the quarter increased 34 per cent to Rs 889.66 crore (Rs 663.40 crore), the company said in a release here today. This was due to the company strengthening its transmission and distribution network and steps taken to improve customer services, metering in the Bhiwandi Circle.
