BoR raises term deposit rates

Mumbai, Feb. 4

Bank of Rajasthan has increased the interest rate on term deposits of some maturities with immediate effect.

According to a press release from the bank, the interest rate on term deposits of 91-179 days are now at 7 per cent. Earlier, the bank was offering 5.75 per cent on deposits of 91-120 days and 6.5 per cent on deposits of 121-179 days. The bank has increased the rate on deposits of 15-18 months to 9.25 per cent. Earlier the rate on deposits of 1-3 years was 9 per cent. Senior citizens will get an additional interest of 0.5 per cent, the press release said. - Our Bureau
