Sub-prime crisis

The article “Sub-prime crisis: Replay of Charuvaka’s economics” (Business Line, February 1) was interesting and the example quoted from “Mahabarat” was very apt. So, this kind of an economy prevailed in that period too. It is indeed a modern Kaliyuga Charuvaka, but it is still a wonder why Indians are taken in so much by the US.

The article was very informative and made me understand what the sub-prime crisis is all about.
