Amguri wells begin production

Kolkata, Feb 5

The consortium of Canoro Resources Ltd and Assam Company has placed the Amguri 10B and Amguri 11 wells on production. Canoro is the operator of the field. According to a press release, with this the Amguri field is now able to average a gross production of approximately 870 barrels a day of condensate and 7.0 million cubic ft of natural gas a day. However, the production is restricted to 585 bbl/d of condensate and 4.7 mmcf/d of natural gas or 1,370 boe/d due to infrastruc ture constraints. The consortium is constructing a new gas pipeline and increasing capacity at the Moran oil transfer station to remove the constraints.
