New Delhi, Feb. 5 India is yet to take a final decision on the trilateral meeting on the Iran-Pakistan-India (IPI) gas pipeline project called by Tehran.

A trilateral meeting was expected to take place on February 12-13.

Indications are that India is unlikely to attend the meeting, as it wants to settle the transit fee issue with Islamabad before moving any forward on the multi-billion dollar deal.

A meeting with Pakistan could be expected after its general elections.

India has been maintaining that it would first like to resolve the pending issues, including the transit fee on the pipeline project with Pakistan, before taking any further step. India and Pakistan are in agreement with the charge for transporting the gas through a 1,035-km pipeline length in Pakistan.
