Irish Minister meets Kamal Nath

New Delhi, Feb. 5

India and Ireland should strive to increase their business-to-business relations to higher levels, the Commerce and Industry Minister, Mr Kamal Nath, has said. Supporting the promotion of bilateral trade and investment opportunities between the two countries, Mr Nath emphasised on co-operation between small and medium enterprises of both the countries. These remarks were made when the visiting Northern Ireland Trade Minister, Mr Nigel Dodds, called on Mr Kamal Nath here today. Meanwhile, an official release said that bilateral trade between India and the UK during 2006-07 was $9.7 billion. As regards FDI, approvals were to the tune of $6.94 billion and inflows stood at $4.06 billion. - Our Bureau
