Venture Capital Sage Capital to raise $200 m for Value Fund Our Bureau Mumbai, Feb. 6 Private equity firm, Sage Capital Fund Management is planning to raise $200 million for Sage Capital Value Fund. The fund will focus on special situations such as tactical acquisitions of businesses or assets with the potential to unlock exceptional value, historic unproductive capital expenditure, uncontrolled costs, unresolved succession issues or corporate restructuring. The fund will also invest in companies that will have strong cash flows and possess significant growth prospects, said a press release from the company. State Bank of India has acquired 19.75 per cent in the company, the release added. The companies in which Sage Capital has invested so far include Inlogistics (container, freight and logistics), Hira Co (jewellery) and Dev developers (real estate and constructions), the release said.
