Tool industry exhibitions in Bangalore from Feb 15

Bangalore, Feb. 7 Tool and Gauge Manufacturers Association (TAGMA) and Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) on Wednesday announced the launch of their industry exhibitions — “Diemould INDIA 2008” and “Tooltech 2008”. The four-day exhibition will be held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), starting from February 15. The event will address a market of size more than $4.5 billion.

The sixth edition of Diemould India 2008 is the largest international exhibition in India covering the tool room industry. Nearly 273 exhibitors from 17 countries will occupy a display area of 1,54,500 sq. ft. Some of the countries participating in the exhibition are Australia, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, The Netherlands, UK and US. There will also be international pavilions from China, Germany and Singapore.

The 10th edition of Tooltech 2008 is a ‘B2B’ event featuring latest trends in cutting tools, tooling technologies, production aids, machine tool accessories, metrology, and CAD-CAM equipment & software. Almost 106 exhibitors from 13 countries including country-group participation from Germany, will exhibit products valued over Rs 4 crore over an exhibition area of 23,000 sq. ft.
