GoAir launches flexible fare package

Our Bureau

Bangalore, Feb 7 GoAir has launched a new fare package called ‘GoFlexi’ fare which allows passengers to make unlimited changes in their travel itinerary free-of-cost.

Passengers on this plan need to pay only Rs 200 towards cancellation charges and they can cancel or reschedule their travel up to two hours prior to scheduled time of flight departure.

“Our GoFlexi Fare is aimed at providing passengers the flexibility to modify their travel itinerary as per their individual needs without burdening their budgetary allocations. The GoFlexi Fares are available on all routes across our entire network,” the GoAir Managing Director, Mr Jeh Wadia, said in a press statement.

Though no transaction fee will be charged for re-booking, passengers will have to pay the difference in fare amount between the original booked fare and the applicable fare of the revised booking. In case, the new fare is lower than the originally booked fare, the difference in fare amount will be retained in the passengers’ credit account with the airline for utilisation within six months period.

GoAir expects ‘GoFlexi’ fares to contribute 10 per cent revenues growth during the current year.
