Vizag port sets new record

Visakhapatnam, Feb. 8

The Visakhapatnam port has set a record in unloading fertilisers during the current financial year, according to a press release. The port has handled 29.9 lakh tonnes till now, surpassing the previous best of 26.2 lt during 2006-07. Till now during the current financial year, 18.23 lt of urea has been unloaded, of which 12 lt has been imported by the Kakinada-based Nagarjuna Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited (NFCL). - Our Bureau
