Kalamata calling

Floating behemoth: The container vessel m.v. Maersk Kalamata berthed at the Chennai container terminal on Friday. It is the largest vessel to call at DP World Chennai, with a length of 304 metres and capacity of 6,416 TEUs (twenty foot equivalent units). The first 5th Generation Container vessel will load 1,423 containers in Chennai. The last port of call was Jebel Ali and the next port is Laem Chebang in Thailand.
