Relying too much on something!

The Sensex has swirled and sunk even as Khan came back from his vacation. Everybody became busy for a few days. Sridevi got married finally but equity markets remain an attraction. Dakshinamoorthy went to US for a project where he saw recession creeping in slowly but surely. Jogin was left behind. With Sensex already 4,000 points off its highs, how low can we go?

Jog: What is goin on here?

Sri: I think we will stabilise around April-May

Kay: The problem is something wrong with US

Dax: Nobody knows but they think we will b affected

Jog: No bother. Blue chips available at good prices.

Kay: Is there a slowdown in the qtrly results???

Sri: Off a high base. Can’t hav 30% growth evry qtr

Kay: Bad sentiment. Wish I knew who was buying n wat

Jog: 2mrrw is a crucial day for the market. R Pwr listing

Dax: Don’t expect fireworks.

Kay: Wont b surprised if stock ends in red

Sri: 42 lakh shareholders, how many will sell?

Dax: May be most of them…

Kay: Money needs to flow in for the mkt 2 stand again

Jog: If we didn’t have IT, pharma and textiles…

Dax: Ha ha ha! All dis sectors are most exposed to US

Sri: Domestic consumption related story. Is it still on? Jog: Fundamentals remain..

Kay: Nw even IPOs falling flat on their face.

Sri: Suddenly investors had become analysts.

Dax: Pricey n suspicious!

Kay: Emaar was a shocker.

Jog: Wockhardt was doomed from 1st day tho

Dax: Price revision b4 u hit da ground cant b +ve.

Sri: Retail investors cud actually get allotment now. Kay: Ummmm. Nice idea. Listing gain theory is out

Sri: This inflation thing is again giving me jitters.

Jog: Wat will happen if oil goes up

Dax: The interest rates are an issue.

Dax: Looks like Mr Reddy will have to raise rates

Jog: Since view is cautious, better 2 b invested in MFs

Kay: Direct equity exposure too volatile for comfort.

Sri: Can this whole selling thing be becoz of PNs?

Dax: Y r money managers pulling out of emerging mkts?

Kay: I think da Asian markets being closed put too much attention on India

Sri: Cud be. So this week wud be different, eh?

Jog: Not really but emerging mkts are future.

Dax: May be the pre-budget rally cud give some sense.

Sri: But choppiness wud resume again after budget.

Kay: But you have to give ADAG salute.

Sri: Another IPO of some entertainment biz

Jog: Mkt has IPO appetite for Reliance stocks.

Dax: Relying too much on something!

Jog: “Rely on none,” said Ulysses

Sri: Da whole mood is spoilt now. Mkt wants directions

Kay: Even realty stocks seem out of favour. FMCG, equipment majors safe?

Jog: Telecom is gud. Ppl are always going to make calls.

Sri: Nobody listen to him. Am sure has those positions

Dax: Some counters in fertilizer space seeing action. Any expectations?

Jog: I want my market back!!! (Logs off)
