Retailing Kansai Nerolac plans 45 ‘impression style’ zones Our Bureau Hyderabad, Feb. 11 Kansai Nerolac Paints, a leading paint manufacturer, has lined up a total of 45 ‘Impression Style Zones’ in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad in the next six months. First of such zones was set up in Chennai recently. “We will open 15 such zones in each of these cities in the pilot, catering to the whole population there,” Mr C. Venugopal, General Manger (Marketing), told Business Line. After studying the results of the pilot, the company would set up a number of such outlets across major cities. “What we offer at these outlets is unique. We help the customers visualise design and conceptualise their homes,” he said. The concept showroom is equipped with a workstation where a trained associate, using a specially designed software, would show the customer how things would look like. “Upfront, the customers would know what colour would fit into the scheme of things. They can try out other combinations, if they don’t like a particular pattern,” Mr Venugopal explained. Each outlet would be backed by 20-25 company-approved contractors. They, in turn, would employ Nerolac-certified painters to take up the job. More Stories on : Retailing | Paints
