Outsourcing States - Tamil Nadu Sundaram Finance BPO arm opens facility in Madurai Our Correspondent Madurai, Feb. 11 The Chennai-based Sundaram Business Services Ltd (SBS), the business process outsourcing (BPO) arm of Sundaram Finance Ltd, opened its BPO facility at Aarapaalayam in the city on Monday. “The progressing infrastructure facilities in and around Madurai, the improving air connectivity and well known educational institutions offering quality talent pool has prompted us to get started immediately in the city” said Mr P.S. Raghavan, Executive Director and Head, SBS, told presspersons. The facility was launched by Mr R. Dinesh, Executive Director, T.V. Sundaram Iyengar and Sons. Staff strengthWhile the initial strength will be 100, another 400 employees will be absorbed during the course of the year. The facility will provide policy administration services in the life insurance sector to start with and will undertake outsourcing works from overseas clients in the course of time.
