Bharti AXA plans more branches in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 11 Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company Ltd has announced the opening of its branch in Thiruvananthapuram. With this, the company has three branches in Kerala.

By December 2008, the company plans to have 13 branches in Kerala including the three existing branches in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode said Mr Tim Thomas, Chief Operating Officer, Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company Ltd. Towns the company plans to cover over the next few months include Kottayam, Thrissur, Kollam, Kannur, Malappuram, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Palakkad and Thiruvalla.

In addition to its branches, the company has a presence in Airtel Relationship Centres. Airtel customers visiting these centres have access to a range of life insurance services and advice on financial protection. In Thiruvananthapuram, the company plans to be present in two Airtel Relationship Centres by this month-end, he said.

By March, it intends to be present in Airtel Relationship Centres in several locations across the State including Kozhikode, Thrissur and Kollam, he added

Nationally, the company plans to be present in approximately 350 Airtel Relationship Centres by March.
