Education States - Kerala PerFact launches finishing school in Kochi Our Bureau Kochi, Feb. 11 Recognising the need for skill upgradation and specialised skill sets for generating qualified workforce, the Performance Factory (PerFact), a performance management and human resource-based training and consulting organisation, on Monday announced the launch of ‘PerFact Evolve’ Finishing School in Kochi. The first training session has commenced at SCMS Business School (Aluva), where students will undergo a 20-hour training module on professional etiquette and corporate behaviour. Mr Adith Abraham and Dr Aju Samuel, promoters of PerFact, said the school is conducting numerous developmental training programmes for various Fortune 500 organisations in India . This initiative from PerFact will be launched in Thiruvanathapuram, Kottayam, and Kannur during the course of the next financial year. PerFact will also launch this initiative in Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mysore and Mangalore by 2009. The PerFact Evolve module has been created and designed to increase workforce competency. It is targeting business schools to enable students to make a smooth transition from campus to corporate life. The vision is to help Kerala turn into a knowledge society and ensure an increase of percentage in employment, from 64.6 per cent to 75 per cent by 2009-end, with the help of the training and corporate services.
