Deccan’s Vizag-Mumbai service

Visakhapatnam, Feb. 13

Deccan is introducing daily flights from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai from March 30 and the bookings are open now, according to a press release. Mr Ramki Sundaram, the officiating CEO, says in the release that “in the absence of direct train services from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai, the air connectivity assumes great importance. We want to facilitate business travel as well as leisure travel between the two port cities.” Deccan has deployed an Airbus A 320 to serve the route. The flight departs here at 12.40 p.m. and lands in Mumbai at 2.20 p.m. and on return, it departs at 10.30 a.m. at Mumbai airport and arrives here by 12.10 p.m.
