Airlines Airlines, the great levellers Ordinary mortals can take some solace from the fact that domestic airlines are extending a level playing field to the citizens and members of Parliament alike. At a meeting of the consultative committee of Parliament attached to the Civil Aviation Ministry, one young MP complained that he had been left cooling his heels in the departure lounge since the aircraft had departed without him despite his holding the boarding pass. At this, another member shared his own experience when he too had been left behind at the Hyderabad airport, again despite his having a boarding card.
