Dyes & Pigments 2-day meet on colorants from March 10
Coimbatore, Feb. 14 A conference on colorants and their evolving trends will be held in Mumbai on March 10-11 under the aegis of the Dyestuff Manufacturers Association of India (DMAI). The conference with the theme ‘Contribution of colorants to Indian economic growth’ will be attended by leading members of dyestuff manufacturing industry, end-user industry and exponents of dyeing materials. According to a communication from Mr Janak Mehta, President , DMAI, the event being held for the first time will provide an interface between the colorant industry and the end users on new developments and improvements seen in colorants that play significant role in areas like life sciences, coatings, polymers, high tech electronics, security system, clothing, home. The conference will cover perspectives in textiles, leather, paper, coatings, pharma, consumer industry, plastics and hi-tech applications. Leading user-industry representatives including those from BASF, Wal-Mart, GAP, Marks and Spencer, Arvind Mills, KG Denim, Gokuldas, Tata Exports, BILT, ITC, JK Paper, Parle, Cadbury, Britannia, Lupin Pharma, Unilever, Godrej, Cavin Care, Moser Baer and Clariant are expected to participate in the two-day programme, the communication added.
