SECR posts highest daily wagon loading

Kolkata: The South East Central Railway (SECR) achieved the highest ever daily loading of wagons recently at 17,023 (in terms of four-wheelers). Of this, the number of coal wagons was 11,745, of which 5,510 were loaded in the Korba region alone. The previous best was 16,016 achieved in January 2008, according to SECR sources. — Our Bureau
