Deccan launches Bangalore, Tiruchi daily flights

Madurai, Feb. 15 Deccan has launched daily flights connecting Bangalore and Tiruchi. An ATR aircraft has been deployed and the new flights will operate in the morning and evening and will commence operation on March 30.

According to Mr Ramki Sundaram, officiating CEO, Deccan, the increasing connectivity between Bangalore and Tiruchi will facilitate catering to leisure and business travel between the two cities, and provide for convenient day trips as opposed to train travel. Fares on these sectors begin at Rs 500, with applicable taxes and surcharge.

The flight in the morning will leave Bangalore at 6.15 a.m. and reach Tiruchi at 7.30 a.m. and in the return trip at 8 a.m. from Tiruchi and reach Bangalore at 9.15 a.m. The evening flight will leave Bangalore at 7.30 p.m. and reach Tiruchi at 8.45 p.m. and in the return trip, at 9.15 p.m. from Tiruchi and reach Bangalore at 10.30 p.m. Passengers can call round-the-clock all India call centre 39008888 (prefix city code) to book tickets, Mr Ramki added.
