Bhave appointed SEBI chief

New Delhi, Feb. 15

The Government on Friday said that it has appointed Mr C.B. Bhave as the new Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). An official release said that Mr Bhave has been appointed for a period of three years from the date he assumes office upon the completion of term by the incumbent Chairman Mr M. Damodaran. Mr Bhave is currently the Chairman and Managing Director of National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL). - Our Bureau
