TMB gets nod for 17 more branches

Madurai, Feb.17

Tuticorin-based Tamilnad Mercantile Bank has got licences to open branches at 17 new locations in the country. According to Mr S. Selvan Rajadurai, General Manager, Business Development, the bank is in the process of opening its 200th branch at Sriperumbudur shortly. Of the 17 new locations, 10 are to be located in Tamil Nadu while the others will be outside the State. The locations in the State are Gudiatham, Guduvancheri, Kottivakkam, Kunnathur, Maduravoyal, Nandambakkam , Pallavaram, Poonamallee, Tiruvallur and Valasaravakkam. The other seven branches will come up at Andheri (West), Bycullah and Sewri in Mumbai, New Rajendra Nagar and Shardhara in Delhi, Rikhab Gunj in Hyderabad and Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. All these branches will be opened before the end of September this year, he said in a press release.
