Spices Board will participate in the organic food show Biofach 2008 at Nuremberg, Germany, during February 21-24. According to a notification of the Board, it will be participating through the APEDA pavilion. “As part of its export promotion programmes, the Board is planning to showcase Indian organic spices and spice products, besides giving opportunity to the discerning Indian exporters to interact with the buyers face-to-face. Biofach is considered as a prominent and sure place to conduct business in organic spices and spice products,” the communiqué said. Mr R Chandrasekhar, Director (Development) will represent the Board. Organic groups interested in participating can contact the Deputy Director, Publicity, says the communiqué. The Board will also participate in Gulf Food Show in Dubai from Feb 24 to 27. It has reserved an exclusive stand. Deputy Directors, Ms. Lakshmikutty and Mr Jagadeesan will represent it.
