Peerless Travels to expand biz

Kolkata, Feb. 18

Peerless Travels Pvt Ltd, a member of the Peerless group, is seeking to expand its outbound tours business in partnership with Thomas Cook. As part of its re-branding activity, the company has re-christened itself as `Kaizen Leisure & Holidays Pvt Ltd' and is targeting a turnover of Rs 10 crore in 2008-09. Speaking at a press conference here on Monday, Mr Jayanta Roy, Director, Peerless General Finance & Investment Co, said that after entering into a tie-up with Thomas Cook, as its global distribution partner, Peerless would now be able to market its outbound tour packages to destinations like Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Europe in a much bigger scale. - Our Bureau
