FKCCI team visits New Mangalore Port

Mangalore, Feb. 19 New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) has urged members of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) to prevail upon the trade and industry to make use of the advantageous position of the port, by routing their cargo through it.

Mr P. Tamilvanan, Chairman of NMPT, who held a meeting with a delegation of FKCCI during its visit to Mangalore recently, explained the delegation members about various facilities available at the port.

A press release by NMPT said that the delegation was taken around the port. Mr Tamilvanan told Business Line that the delegation was happy with the infrastructure at the port, and promised to help boost traffic at the port.
