Satyam sets up 350-seater centre for Microsoft

Our Bureau

Hyderabad, Feb. 19 IT services provider Satyam Computer today announced it has expanded its existing multi-dimensional relationship with Microsoft Corp, and has established a 350-seater dedicated delivery centre in Hyderabad.

The facility, inaugurated by Mr Moorthy Uppaluri, Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft IT-Global, on Saturday, is aimed at working on Microsoft technologies and their applicability to respective clients.

This development seeks to build on Satyam’s existing engagements as strategic service partner to Microsoft’s global IT sourcing and product development outsourcing. This covers building Microsoft IP and solutions in new products and versions.

The President of Commercial and Healthcare, Satyam, Mr Ram Mynampati, in a statement said: “Microsoft is a strategic customer and partner for Satyam for the global markets. Satyam’s clientele will benefit from these investments and in providing industry- specific and customised solutions.”

Satyam had earlier launched two Business Intelligence (BI) facilities on Microsoft platform in Singapore and Shanghai.
