Polaris, City Networks in pact

Chennai, Feb. 19

Polaris Software Lab Ltd has entered into a partnership with the US-based City Networks to provide ongoing product development and support services to the American company. The Chennai-based software company, the first external development partner of City Networks, will leverage its domain expertise coupled with global delivery model to re-engineer City Network's `Exceptions and Investigations' product suite. City Networks develops and implements software and services for the treasury, securities and derivatives markets. Over 500 global financial institutions rely on it to manage their transaction risk from trade inception to final settlement. Polaris has designed and developed enterprise platforms using Microsoft Technologies, which integrates with City Networks' existing products, according to a Polaris statement. - Our Bureau
