IBS product for Jet Air

Bangalore, Feb. 20

I BS Software, a provider of IT solutions to the travel, transportation and logistic industry, said on Wednesday that it had signed a deal with Jet Airways to provide IBS’s crew management solution AvientCrew to the company. AvientCrew helps airlines manage their crew and optimise crew utilisation, IBS said in a statement. The product also helps reduce disruption due to absence of crew, the company added. IBS, whose clients include Cathay Pacific, Emirates and Qatar Airways among others, said Jet Airways is their first Indian customer. Mr V.K. Mathews, Chairman and Chief Executive, said IBS plans to become a Rs 1,000-crore company by 2010. The company is interested in entering the engineering and maintenance product space. IBS is looking to acquire two companies in the next 12 months, he added. – Our Bureau
