Thomas Cook holiday carnival

Coimbatore, Feb. 22

Thomas Cook (India) Ltd (TCIL) and Travel Corporation of India (TCI) will organise a tourism road show styled `100 per cent Holiday Carnival' in Coimbatore on Sunday to showcase popular tourist destinations both in India and abroad.

The Coimbatore event is part of the multi-city road show organised by TCIL and TCI and the partners in the road show, including airlines, state tourism boards and tourism boards from foreign countries, cruise and rail companies, would have their enclosures where potential tourists could seek information relating to their visits. The organisers would offer early bird freebies to customers registering with them. Ms Nalini Gupta, President and Head, Thomas Cook India and Managing Director, TCI, said in the past two years, the number of Indians taking to leisure travel was on the rise. She added that the carnival provided an opportunity for direct interface with potential customers who could learn about various packages and emerging destinations. - Our Bureau
