Mr Praveen Agarwal, Chairman, Mormugao Port Trust, has been given the additional charge of Chairman of Kandla Port Trust with effect from February 21, according to a press release issued by the Kandla Port Trust. An officer of the Indian Revenue Service, Mr Agarwal joined Mormugao Port Trust as its Chairman in October 2005. The position of Chairman of Kandla Port Trust lay vacant since early this month when the then Chairman, Mr A. Janardhana Rao, was asked to resign by th e Shipping Ministry.
