Crompton Greaves ties up with Dutch company

New Delhi, Feb. 25 Electrical equipment manufacturer Crompton Greaves on Monday announced a tie-up with Dutch firm Lemnis Lighting for launching LED lighting products.

“In a scenario of increasing concern of carbon dioxide emission and global warming, it has become inevitable that initiatives are taken to address the concern and take steps towards a better world,” Mr Sudhir Trehan, Managing Director, Crompton Greaves, said on the sidelines of the ‘Sixth Light India International Exhibition’ taking place here.

He said that the alliance with Lemnis Lighting in the area of solid-state lighting would usher in latest technology from the house of Lemnis supplemented by the strength of Crompton Greaves in application engineering and integrated solutions.

“It is well known that the use of solid-state lighting has innumerable benefits and also addresses the issue of energy conservation.
