Fire at Arvind Mills warehouse

Mumbai, Feb. 25

A fire broke out at the finished goods warehouse of VF Arvind Brands Pvt Ltd, joint venture of Arvind Mills Ltd, according to a company release on the BSE. The goods stored in the warehouse are fully insured, said the release. The cause of the fire is being investigated and the extent of damage is being ascertained. The company officials were unavailable for comment. The company's scrip on Tuesday closed at Rs 48.50 up 0.21 per cent from the previous day's close of Rs 48.40. - Our Bureau
