Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar & Industries Ltd has said that the company’s new 12,000 TCD plant at Uttraula in district Balrampur in eastern Uttar Pradesh, has commenced operations. With this new plant, the aggregate operating capacity of the company during the current sugar season has increased to 40,000 TCD from the earlier capacity of 28,000 TCD.

Camlin Fine Chemicals Ltd has acquired 60 per cent equity stake in Sangam Laboratories Pvt Ltd, a SSI unit manufacturing nutriceuticals and drug intermediates at Tarapur.

DS Kulkarni Developers Ltd has said that the High Court of Judicature at Bombay has directed that a meeting of the equity shareholders of the company be held on March 17 for the purpose of considering and if thought fit, approving with or without modification the arrangement embodied in the Scheme of Amalgamation of Oyster Promoters and Developers Pvt Ltd (the transferor company) with DS Kulkarni Developers Ltd (the applicant/transferee company) and their respective shareholders and creditors.

Emco Ltd’s EGM has approved sub-division of equity shares of nominal value of Rs 10 each into shares of Rs 2 each.

R Systems International Ltd’s board of directors has approved the opening of a branch office in the Netherlands and in Japan.

Tourism Finance Corporation of India board of directors at its meeting held on February 25 approved allotment of 1,32,97,648 equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at a price of Rs 48 (including premium of Rs 38 per equity share) aggregating Rs 63.82 crore to the following allottees: IFCI Ltd - No. of equity shares allotted - 6838122; State Bank of India (2416296); Life Insurance Corp Of India (2024310); Bank of India- (1234824); United India Insurance Co. Ltd (459096) and The Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd (325000).
