ECGC, UCO Bank tie up

Kolkata, Feb. 25

The Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd (ECGC) has signed a corporate agency agreement with UCO Bank, according to a press release issued by the bank. Mr S. Prabhakaran, Executive Director of ECGC, and Mr V.K. Dhingra, Executive Director of UCO Bank, signed the agreement here recently. The tie-up is expected to benefit the bank’s exporter-customers who will get insurance protection against payment risks. The guarantee is to be provided under various typ es of ECGC policies to be available at the level of the bank’s branches.
